Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is indicated in adults and children for the treatment of cold sore which is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Directions:
You should apply the cream as soon as a cold sore is felt.
Adults and Children:Apply five times a day at four hourly intervals for five days.
If healing is not complete after five days, the treatment can be continued for up to five days more.

You can apply the cream to cold sores by using the one-istered or cold sore area clean and dry. Apply the cream two times a day at four hourly intervals for five days.

When used liberally, the cream contains the active ingredient aciclovir. This medication is most effective at treating cold sores when the sores are healing. It will also treat genital herpes sores and shingles sores if the virus is killed by a complete course of the infection. Consult your doctor if you have any questions regarding this medication.
Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir or any other ingredients of the cream. Long-term USE:
